Memories
"Bison Memories" 2005Aluminum, foam, microphone, speaker.
This is the first of three sculptures based on the idea of memories. Inside one of the horns are small mic's that constantly record all the sounds in the space. five seconds later the sound is played out of the other horn. The Bison almost act's like a parrot over your shoulder. This is the ultimate short term memory.

"Boar Memories" 2005
Aluminum, glass apple, video monitor.
This is a cast aluminum boar head with a glass apple in its mouth. The apple acts as a lens to view the video being played in the back of the head. The video is from my childhood hunting in Kansas. I use this to represent the boar last memories.
"Elk Memories" 2005
Aluminum, glass eyes, video monitor.
The Elks memories are only of its life hanging on a wall. When you look in to its glass eyes you see a video of my parents rocking in thier lazy boy recliners.
